Previously served as a senior finance professional at Fortis, a global banking and insurance group, where he focused on mergers & acquisitions and restructuring balance sheets following the group’s breakup.
Developed rigorous inflation-based damages methodologies that have set benchmarks in the field of litigation analysis.
Possesses extensive experience in arbitration matters involving financial valuation and investment disputes under various institutional frameworks (e.g., CEPANI, DIS, ICC, LAC).

A recognised expert in antitrust, digital markets, platform regulation, and innovation policy with over 20 years of senior experience in public sector, private industry, and economic consulting.
Professional Background
Previously collaborated with Benoit at a leading global economic consultancy where she supported large technology companies in competition and regulatory matters.
Served under the Chief Economist of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Competition (DG COMP) and as Deputy Chief Economist in the EC Directorate-General for Internal Market and Industry (DG GROW). She also spent seven years within EC Commissioners’ personal cabinets. During her time at the European Commission, she played a leading role in high-profile antitrust investigations and policy developments related to mergers, and conduct investigations in the technology, energy, telecoms, basic industries, and retail sectors.
Held a four year Director role at Meta in the United States where, she addressed policy challenges in the areas of taxation, financial services, intellectual property, and competition policy.
Career Highlights
Co-author of a widely used manual on quantitative techniques in antitrust and competition policy. She has held teaching positions at the University of Barcelona and George Mason University School of Policy and is a frequent visiting lecturer in Europe and the United States. She is currently a Senior Fellow at the George Washington University Competition & Innovation Lab.
Non-Governmental Advisor to the International Competition Network connecting the heads of competition authorities around the world.
